After years of suffering from a variety of symptoms, undergoing many surgeries, meeting numerous specialists at several hospitals, and taking countless tests, my medical journal has become too long and confusing.

For this reason, I have created a more accessible and clear version of my medical history, including my perspective and the information I have gathered about all my illnesses, symptoms, and Carpa
here.

In this vast and diverse world, while we may share certain similarities, our unique qualities truly set us apart.

Each one of us possesses a distinct response to the world around us - be it the environment we inhabit, the food we consume, or the chemicals we encounter.
Various factors collectively contribute to the unique tapestry of the human body and overall health.

Have you ever wondered why some people have allergic reactions to certain foods or chemicals while others don't?

It's a perplexing question that continues to baffle the medical community. Allergies are a fascinating and complex topic, varying greatly from person to person.

Understanding our medical history is crucial in guiding a proper diagnosis and assessing our overall health condition.

Our health diary is like a treasure trove of information. It's a comprehensive record of our past and current health, giving us and our doctors valuable insights into our health status.

It's like having a personal health encyclopedia right at our fingertips!

By diligently taking notes of our symptoms and medications, we construct a thorough depiction of our health voyage, empowering healthcare providers to deliver better care.

My debilitating health journey began in 2007 when I started experiencing a range of allergies and symptoms. Before this, I was in great health, had no allergies, didn’t smoke or drink, and exercised three to four times a week.
Throughout my lengthy quest in pursuit of a correct diagnosis, I spent years undergoing various procedures - contrast MRIs, colonoscopies, CT and PET scans, gastroscopies, lumbar punctures, and more.

I spent more time in hospital wards than at home, dealing with horrid symptoms, pain, stress, and uncertainty in isolation.

After my poor health significantly impacted my lifestyle, Carpa entered my life, which prevented me from living a normal life, including exercising and engaging in social activities.

The combination of symptoms, mental and physical strain, and constant uncertainty took a further toll on my health and quality of life.

With each hospital stay and set of diagnostic tests, my optimism diminished, and I started to doubt that I would ever get an accurate diagnosis.

However, after many years and endless investigations, in 2015, one Karolinska specialist finally diagnosed me with Carpa. I call him Inspector Poirot of medicine.

Even though this felt like a victory, Carpa continues to challenge medical understanding; it's unpredictable and incurable, and while some of my symptoms have improved, others remain life-threatening.

Ultimately, there is still a long way to go in understanding the origins and treatment of Carpa.

Here, I will share everything I have learned, experienced, and researched about living with chronic conditions. Additionally, I will provide helpful tips and tools to improve everyday life.
